F/T Restaurant and Hotel Supervisor

We are looking for a Full Time Restaurant and Hotel supervisor to work with us in our luxury boutique hotel with an 80 cover restaurant in the centre of Kirkwall , Orkneys busy main town.
You will have to work closely with our General Manager Gayle Grieve and be able to lead our team to cover Gayle on her nights off and holidays.
The Storehouse also has eight unique guest rooms on our upper two floors and a large ground floor restaurant with front bar . Converted from originally what was buit as a herring and pork curing store in 1880 it has been sympathically renovated to a very high standard mixing the old with the new. The aim is to offer great food using local ingredients and top class accomadation providing a relaxed atmosphere but friendly service for our restaurant customers and residents.
We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in the Hotel and Restaurant hospitality industry who can help our business and team to grow and who always puts our customers first.
We serve food from 5.30pm -8.45pm and close our restaurant at 10pm with bar open on busy nights in the main season to 11pm. Enthusiasm for your work is key along with a very approachable freindly manner in a relaxed atmosphere and the ability to lead our team is a neccessity. Weekend availibility is also a must although you would not be expected to work every weekend and we realise work life balance is very important for all our employees.

Salary is to be discussed depending on experience. 28 days holiday pro rata with work based pension and share of generous tips available - extra time off can be negiotated in quiet times
